Allan has nearly 30 years experience in the Scottish commercial property industry. Apart from his involvement in managing various aspects of the firm, he now concentrates mainly on professional work covering valuations and rent review. From time to time he is called upon by clients with regard to investment and development appraisal work, where his expertise is particularly valued.
He is a member of the Chairman’s Panel of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors for Arbitrations and Expert Determinations.

Peter has been with Speirs Gumley since 1982. He is a past Chairman of the Building Surveyors Division of the RICS in Scotland and has over 25 years experience in core Building Surveying skills. His expertise, particularly in building pathology and as a Planning Supervisor, is much in demand.

Joe qualified in 1967 and was elected a fellow of the RICS in 1976. He has extensive knowledge of the residential market in West Central Scotland and in addition to his valuation and survey work he has acted as an expert witness in both Glasgow Sheriff Court and The Court of Session in Edinburgh.

Paul qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 1968 in the North of England and moved to Edinburgh in 1975 where he worked for Lothain Regional Council and the Coal Industry Pension Fund before joining Scottish Metropolitan Property plc in 1982. In 1991 he formed Birch McCulloch, and then became a partner in Speirs Gumley when the two firms merged in 2001.

Kingsley qualified in 1991 and became a partner with Speirs Gumley in 2001. Before joining the firm he gained considerable experience of both residential and commercial property work throughout Scotland. He now specialises in the survey/valuation of residential property for purchase. He also has a development consultancy/appraisal role and acts as an expert witness negotiating compensation and acquisitions.
