Residential Working With Developers

In our experience, working closely with residential property developers from an early stage is extremely worthwhile for all parties. Exploring property management issues at the start of the development process has many advantages and we have built up strong relationships with developers with whom we have been in consultation from the very beginning of a project. We have gone on to work in partnership with them in subsequent ventures.

We actively encourage the early introduction of Managing Agents in the development process simply because we believe that the developer and managing agents goal should be the same: to provide a good quality property for the purchaser who then becomes our client. We thereafter continue to provide a quality management service to maintain that property. To consider the management aspects early in a project means that we become familiar with all the maintenance requirements and can consider this when anticipating costs.

We also promote and facilitate communication between all the parties involved in a development project – Sales Teams, Solicitors, Contractors, the Developers, Architects, Project Managers, and so on.

This is an example of Speirs Gumley"s forward thinking approach, pushing the frontiers of property management and creating a productive synergy between all the project participants.
