We have been dealing with a steady volume of calls during this period, which suggests that necessary repairs and maintenance is continuing during challenging operating conditions. Our Lettings Team have also been continuing to progress a number of new business enquires amidst a changing marketplace, with a number of legislative changes to consider too, and this remains encouraging.
We have maintained regular communication with our clients and this engagement has been essential to ensure we have been able to fulfil client requirements during this period. We have been getting much better at meeting with clients utilising video conferencing facilities, and this has allowed scheduled meetings to continue as planned, and indeed for more meetings to be scheduled and matters dealt with remotely, preventing unnecessary delays. Experience has shown us that these online meetings can be successful when numbers are relatively low. This has been a welcome method of communicating with our clients, and we fully intend embracing this format as we move out of lockdown, where circumstances permit.
Our preferred list of contractors are still operating, to provide essential services such as cleaning, gardening, maintenance, repairs and testing. Some Firms have increased their workforce as we move into Phase One of the route out of lockdown, but they continue to provide their assurance that they are providing these services while complying fully with guidance on the safety and welfare of their workforce and the public.
